I haven't noticed a forum made for CSUEB's Spring 2023 application period so here we go. Hopefully we can share stats and help each other out during the application process. This is my second time applying to East Bay (applied for Fall 2022 and got accepted but declined due to medical issues at the time). I have the following stats:
Prereq GPA: 3.942
Science GPA: 4.0
TEAS: 86.7
Local
1600+ phlebotomy hours

I also got my email yesterday and I'm on the waitlist ahhhh I am hoping I'll get in! Does anyone know how many people are in this cohort?
According to what I saw from the previous posts, I think it's around 48 for Spring terms? I am not so sure though. Good luck and I hope you will be accepted soon!

Hiiii, did you get the emails with the list of documents we need to submit? Do you know if there is a support group for the pre-nursing student somewhere? I am hoping to find someone to go through some of the documents together to make sure they meet the requirements.

I payed the $148 to register for CastleBranch.. their website will review and approve the necessary documents- it’s a lot, but it looks pretty straightforward. Their site also provides links to videos and further contact info for assistance with questions and documents.

do we know when they start getting back to waitlist people?
Usually, they pull from the waitlist as accepted applicants decline admission- there typically isn’t much of a delay. I would email the nursing department to confirm (they’re pretty responsive). Best of luck to you!

Keep hope alive! I was waitlisted last year, but I got in this time. If you don’t get in, reassess your stats and do everything you can to better your application for the next admission cycle, then reapply! Whatever you do, just don’t give up!
