Hi everyone , I haven't seen anyone create a post regarding those who are applying to the Fall of 2020 semester ! I created a previous one , but I don't know if the title was hard to find ! Honestly, it would be nice to talk with people who are waiting anxiously too !

Here are my stats:

Transfer GPA : 4.0

Healthcare Experience: CNA ( put full time since I work an average of 32 hours a week and the Stan State Nursing Program considered that full time . Hopefully that is true! )

Residency in San Joaquin

TEAS : 81.3 %

I believe I will be applying with 97 points if all goes well ! Hope to hear from everyone soon and best of luck !

I emailed ****** a few days ago if the outbreak would prevent students from hearing back if they were accepted into the program. She responed that she dosen't see any reason for a dely.

Circumstances have changed. 1st semester students classes have been paused and if this continues it can be held back. I’m telling you what I’ve been told directly from students and instructors, that it’s only a possibility. I’ll notify of any updates.

And it’s not that you wouldn’t be accepted, it’s that your starting term would be delayed. So they would still pick applicants as usual, you just might not start in the fall.

Okay that's fine and thank you for the updates ! I really do appreciate it! Also, I wanted to know if I will have a good chance getting into the program? I'm applying with 97 points this semster. Is that high enough ? ( Also stay safe during this outbreak ??)

Thank you ! It would be such an honor to be in the nursing program, knowing that I will be able to care for people especially in times like these ! I just hope it gets better and again thank you for keeping us updated!

So anxious to get that letter in the mail. I was selected as one of the ten alternates for Sonoma State nursing but they won’t tell me what number I am on the waitlist. I hope we get letters soon!

I hope you get in too ! Do you know how many points you applied with ? Also, the students who are admitted into the program receive an email that they were accepted( usually around this time ) .

I never added up all of my points. I would have to go back and do the math and see, but I believe it would only be around 80 since I would be a transfer. When I called the nursing department I was told we would be notified via mail. That’s why we sent an extra envelope with our return when we applied I thought?
