CSU Stanislaus State Fall of 2020

Published

Hi everyone , I haven't seen anyone create a post regarding those who are applying to the Fall of 2020 semester ! I created a previous one , but I don't know if the title was hard to find ! Honestly, it would be nice to talk with people who are waiting anxiously too !

Here are my stats:

Transfer GPA : 4.0

Healthcare Experience: CNA ( put full time since I work an average of 32 hours a week and the Stan State Nursing Program considered that full time . Hopefully that is true! )

Residency in San Joaquin

TEAS : 81.3 %

I believe I will be applying with 97 points if all goes well ! Hope to hear from everyone soon and best of luck !

HELLO new and anxious nursing students! I'll be seeing you all at boot camp! I love to volunteer and meet the new faces. Speaking of which I highly recommend everyone go to the boot camp! It makes things a lot less overwhelming and scary. As far as those of you waiting to hear back about the waitlist, they will contact the amount of people they have open spots for around noon when the deadline for the first 30 has closed.

Oooo ! I would love to go ! I went to nursing camp back in high school at Stan State and I loved it ! Is it similar to that ? Also, when will the nursing department send out confirmation emails to those who accepted their position in the program?

If you don't get called to fill a spot with the first wave of waitlist people, do not lose hope. After the first wave of waitlist people either decline or accept, they'll move on to the next group of waitlisted people. There have been semesters that they went all the way to waitlist #50! Stay hopeful! There is a plan for you and it will all work out! Can't wait to meet you all! The semesters ahead of you are excited to give their advise and watch you all kill it in nursing school!

we had to turn our letters of intent to enroll into the office in person. so it was a little different for us. COVID has changed things a little. But if you haven't received confirmation I would just tell you to keep the email you sent as proof of the time and date you sent it in. If still no confirmation in a week then reach out again. But they will not kick you out if you have the emailed proof you sent it in on time. Things are just chaotic right now in the department so their probably just behind.

I would hang in there, they are probably behind because we all keep emailing them. I'm sure you're fine
