Hello everyone!
I have yet to see a thread on CSU Stan's ASBSN program for this Fall 2014. I just wanted to see how many people out there have applied like myself :) Best of luck to everyone!
I'm from Stockton if you have any questions. But just to answer the basics that I know you'll want to know if you're not from around here:
Live in northwest Stockton. 95219 is probably the zip code to shoot for (it has the highest income bracket, if that even means anything.) Brookside, Mariners Dr., W. Ben Holt
Compared to other parts of CA, Stockton rent is pretty cheap.
It's not scary (for the most part). There are certain places that you just shouldn't go at certain times, like areas around the area of the school (where I would NOT suggest living). The Stockton Stanislaus campus itself is actually really cute and seems to be in a well guarded off on it's own.
I've already accepted the federal aid. Also I have the name and number of the guy in charge of financial aide. He'll contact you anyway if made any mistakes on your FAFSA.
You have to file for FAFSA first to get federal aid and BEFORE you go private. There are a lot of good reasons... if you care to know.
Sorry for typos, I'm not going to proof read.
Anyway, my lunch is over...
You can try going to mycsustan.edu to see if an account has been set up for you. You have to click the link for "Initial sign-in..." to see for you have a log-in. If you can log in, on the right side of the page very purple page that appears, there are the "financial aid" links that you need.
