Hey guys,
I'm currently a high school student and I was interested in going to CSU Fullerton. I have a few questions...
1.) How hard is it to get into the actual school?
2.) How hard is it to get into the BSN nursing program?
3.) I want to be a BSN, but they have something called a EL-BSN, what is that and what is the difference between an EL-BSN and a BSN?
4.) Is it a good nursing school?
Thank you!

ok. You want to attend their nursing program or school?
as ar as I know they only accept people with RN license. You need to get am ADN first then you can apply to their RN-BSN program.
They don't have a el BSN
They have an el msn I believe. That's for people with bachelors degrees and pre reqs done.

CSUF is an impacted campus, meaning they get more applications than the actual spots they have. So, the application requirements are more competitive compared to other campuses. I am not well-versed about the entry-level BSN, but I am more familiar with the RN to BSN option.
Fullerton is a ranked campus in the CSU system (according to US News) and their nursing school is great. The facilities and equipment are up to date and the staff is wonderful.
I would highly recommend that you schedule an appointment to see an adviser from the School of Nursing. They can provide you with comprehensive information, as well as answer any questions you may have.
Not very specific I formation but I HTH nevertheless.

1. If you live in Orange County and have over a 3.0 high school gpa and good SAT scores you will probably get into the actual school.
2. It is extremely hard to get into their BSN program. Look on their website and it outlines everything for you. You may want to start volunteering at a hospital to see if you like it and it will get you points when you apply.
3. You would be a EL-BSN that is for new students like yourself coming from high school that want to get their BSN. It is a fairly new program for them. The also have a EL-MSN which is for people who have a Bachelor's degree in a non nursing area.
4. Yes, there school is very good!
Good luck and hope that helps!
