CSU Fullerton ABSN Fall 2023

Hi! I didn't see a thread so I thought I'd start one. Anyone apply to this program? Im super nervous! I also plan to submit an app to CSU Northridge. 

Anyone else? Any info?

Yah I totally get your point. As for me, rent is much cheaper here in LA because of how long I've resided here. OC rent is not as cheap as I expected. As for clinicals, I read that it may be anywhere within a 50 mile radius from the school so fingers crossed for it to be near home!

I'm not sure if this list is completely accurate but I found this https://nursing.fullerton.edu/current/facility.php. seems like most of the places on here are in OC unfortunately... I wish we could just pick where we get placed haha

I saw that too! But CHLA and KP LA are very close to where I live. We'll see how everything goes! ?

BTW, did you get any other emails? I suppose we're just waiting for additional info right?

Nope no other emails so far. Pretty much no updates since I accepted the offer.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to make it aware that we have access to CSUF Portal > Health Portal/Vaccination site. You guys should get a head start on uploading JPG images of your COVID vaccine, and all immunizations so that the school and process/approve it! 

It looks like the school needs titers for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella. The only helpful place I found available to the public is at CVS minute clinic for those:

Titers must be *positive* to prove immunity. 

I know there's no emails on it but I feel like it would help to get these out of the way before we start hurrying to find student loans :I

Nope not yet! Seems like she mentioned in her previous email that she'll be reaching out to us at the end of the month. ?

Looks like orientation is June 28, and another email will come later this month or closer than that date

Hey everyone! Hope yall had a great long weekend.

I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything, but has anyone received additional emails from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME)? It's the end of the month and I haven't received anything.

Also, any idea on how many people got accepted this cohort by any chance?

I believe it was around 100 people, maybe less. I read that about 900 apply, 200 get the interview and a few get accepted.

As for any new emails, I haven't gotten any. Just waiting for the one about registration for now ?
