CSU East Bay Fall 2023

Hey Everyone! 

I wanted to start this thread because I haven't seen one yet. I'm probably making this superrrrrr early LOL since the Fall 2023 apps just opened for CSUs but I just wanted to see how everyone is doing during this application process and also to share our stats! 

Mine being:

PreReq: 4.0

Science: 4.0

TEAS: 86%

Healthcare Exp as a Pharm Tech

Attended Local CC

So far I have completed the CSU apply app, just need to work on NursingCas and my personal statement questions. But anyways, good luck to everyone!

Thank you! I'm leaning towards EB but I also got into CSU Long Beach's program too. I just want to get a little more info into EB's program though. I've been searching online and haven't really found anything.

Ooo okie! I think both programs are about the same length, like 5 semesters. I hope you find the info you're looking for! I would recommend try and emailing the school's nursing office to ask. Usually they respond within one to two business days ?

I just wanted to ask outta curiosity, when you received the opening offer from the waitlist did you get a certain amount of days to respond back before they move onto the next waitlist person or do you have like a month to reply back? Also if you don't mind me asking, have you decided on where you are going yet?

Hey! 

Yeah, I got the email on April 25 then had to respond by April 28th. I'm not sure how long it would be after May 1st. I'm assuming they wanted a quick answer because of the deadline of officially accepting is today. 

I chose to go to East Bay! I want to stay in the Bay Area to find a job after I'm done with nursing school, so I thought it would make more sense to go to CSUEB.

Ah okie! Thank you for letting me know! I'm waiting for a spot myself to get into East Bay so I hope to hear back this month, and hopefully we can be classmates this Fall! Congrats again on getting into East Bay! :))
