Good old CSEB. Man, I almost had a heart attack over this school. Got an email late Monday(5/19) saying that if I didn't reply to it by midnight they were giving my spot away???????????? I never got a letter from them, I get something from CSEB every day in the mail, junk mail that is. When I commented to a person in the nursing dept. she said "oh, yeah I have gotten a few calls from people who didn't get the letter in the mail, we're gonna send em out again and they should get them next week????" A bunch of stuff has to be in by the end of the month and these people may not even know that they got in, didn't reply and their spot was given away. With 700+ applicants I konw it can be tough, but man they need to be on the ball with stuff like this, it is our life after all.
Congratulations to those that have been accepted. The Hayward campus is looking at holding orientation the last Saturday in July and the Concord campus is looking at August 2nd. I am currently in the Concord program and I am really enjoying it. We have a very talented and supportive faculty, and I have made some wonderful lifelong friends. We also have the support of the class ahead of us to guide and mentor us, and we will be doing the same for you incoming Level I students. I am so excited and looking forward to meeting the incoming Concord students on orientation day. Again a big congratulations. Enjoy the summer.
Best regards,
