Hey everyone! I am going to be applying for Chico's nursing program for Fall 2020. Just wondering how everyone's application process is going and what their point standing is as of right now. I am very nervous but hopeful!

I applied with only 90 points, so I don't expect one of those emails LOL. But you would think they would at least send out a mass email saying that they need more time to work through the numbers. I still haven't received anything

It’s pretty disappointing considering they had months to figure out the details.

I'm not even really surprised. They did pretty much the same thing last semester. And I wonder how many people are not going to accept spots due to coronavirus and all the junk that goes along with it. Just crazy. I just want to know where I'm at on the list ya know?
For the of you guys that have 94 points, I've researched how they break the tie and it says "In addition to point total, we rank applicants by cumulative GPA. Other tie-breaking factors are used, including the ATI TEAS score if necessary"
I'm also not sure if anyone knows, but are there still spots open and they are doing tie-breakers for people with 94 points to determine who is in and then who is on the alternate list (and what the position they are in)? Or is every position full (besides anyone who has declined the offer) and everyone with 94 points is an alternate no matter what? The email said the cutoff was 94 points, which seems like people with 94 points can still get accepted without being an alternate. I'm probably overthinking the wording, but I'm just super anxious.

If they're doing tie-breakers it most likely means that there are still spots and they're figuring out who gets offered a seat and who gets on the alternate list. I would try not to stress too much. Even if you are an alternate you will probably get offered a seat. I doubt everyone will accept their spots, and until Tuesday it's just a waiting game!

I believe that people who have 94 are able to be accepted without being an alternate. 94 is the cutoff where some get in and some don’t who have that score.
