CSU Chico BSN Fall 2016

Hi everyone,

If I'm not mistaken, it looks as though no thread has been started for Chico's Fall 2016 BSN nursing program. I recently submitted my application and currently playing the waiting game. It'd be nice to hear from fellow applicants. Good luck to you all!

Thank you, good luck to you too! ..Ugh I know, it's already killing me! I wonder what the cut-off is gonna be this fall, it looks to keep trending upward. How many points are you applying with? If I counted everything correctly I should be sitting at 91 points.

Hey guys! I also applied to Chico State's Nursing Program. This is my second time I am applying. The waiting time is the worst.

I am applying with 90 points.

Thanks guys! I applied with a 89/90 points. I know that the cutoff is getting higher each semester, but I'm hoping that I can at least get a relatively good position on the alternate list. I read on previous forums that they have gone down as far as #17 on the alternate list. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Just double checked on Chico State's nursing website and they went as far down as #20 on the alternate list last fall.

I am also applying with a 89/100. If I would have applied in spring I would have had a 92-93/100, but due to the changes in the application my score went down. Hopefully that means requirements will be lower this time around and a 89 will be ok :/ Wait is def killing me. The office told me we would know around the 15th.

I think due to changes of the application many applicants lost points. I hope the cut off will be lower or similar to last semesters. I don't think they would've changed the application to raise the cut off?

Yeah I don't think so either, I would assume they changed the app point system to stop that crazy upward trend. (I hope!) lol. Yeah as far as I know it should be by/around 15th May. This is also my second time applying, applied in spring, my first tease score really hindered my point total.

I also applied for the Fall 2016 class with a point total of 90/100. This waiting game is killing me! It's nice to know a lot of other people are going through the same thing!

Got in! I received a comprehensive welcome package in the mail. The welcome letter indicates that I am class of 2018. Do you know if Chico is a 2 year program for basic BSN?
