Hi guys I wanted to start a conversation for the Spring 2020 CSUCI Goleta Program applicants. It'd be awesome to hear everyone's stats and any updates anyone has received. Good luck to you all!

That’s odd I thought they would be done reviewing all applications by now. I would call the Goleta Front Desk. They are very helpful.

Hey guys I just called the front desk to clear up something about my application and the front desk let me know they will be sending out decisions at the end of the month so sounds like we have a bit longer!

Aw man. I had false hope because every year schools throw out “end of month” and then notify people earlier than that. Seems like this year it might actually be the end of the month.

Im pretty low at 28 points. I don't think I have a chance but doesn't hurt to try. I'm a transfer student and no where near the area, those 6 extra point would have really helped me out. I also called and asked to see if they had a range for the acceptance this time around they said they don't have the lowest range but the highest this application period was 40pts. Also like someone else mentioned they plan on emailing us the decisions by the end of October.

this makes me soooo nervous. I really hope we all can get in. I cant wait !!

Wow the highest was 40 points! ? That makes me nervous. The range last year was 32-38. I wonder if the low range increased a lot too.

I just called to tryand get some answers but he said that they are in the last week of reviewing. They have 15-20 more applications left. This makes me even more nervous because that means a lot of people applied. He said last week of October for sure. This is killing me! ?

Does anyone know how many applicants are accepted each term/ how many are waitlisted

Only 22 people are accepted for this cycle. And they have 5 people selected for the alternate list in the event anyone from the 22 were to drop.
CSUCI Camarillo main campus selects 48 students with 15 students on the alternate list. This past Fall 2019 all 15 students in the alternate list got in!
