CSN RN Spr 2012 applicants When Are You Turning In Your Packets?

hello all!

i was just wondering, for those of you that are applying to csn's spring 2012 full time or part time rn program, when are you planning on turning in your packet?

i know the deadline isn't until sept 1,2011 but i am excited to get that acceptance letter :yeah:and i also just want the application off of my hands lol

Did anyone go later in the day to see how many alternates signed that peach paper? I was the first alternate there for part time at 9:30am and there were about 4 signatures on the full time alternate list. I'm just wondering how many alternates didn't show up to pick up their letter....I would imagine they would be out of the game if they didn't show up yesterday?? Hopefully enough people declined that some alternates get called today.

Does anyone know what this ATI test is the alternates have to take after the January 6th meeting? Isn't it the TEAS test?

Everyone has to take the ATI test, it's a standard placement test just to see where we are as a group. It will not effect you getting in, that's how she explained it to me :)

altnates dont have to take the teas if they are not accepted.... i havent got acall maybe someone got the spot already ei..

I haven't recieved a call either. Their could be more people that drop out between now and January though. I'm really tempted to call and see if they took any alternates yet but I'm sure they get sick of calls!

Naalaakkumon, what time did you pick up your letter yesterday? Did you notice if the sign in sheets for alternates were full?

i picked it up like ten..didnt notice it....aiiii.... was hoping my phone would ring...last sem there were only 4 alternates who got the spot.... buuuttttt really want to be in..i wanna call too.., but i might annoy them! oh

now i just can't wait for those 8 hour orientations (masochist much?) haha i guess self torture will be my m.o. until further notice

I applied to the part time and became a alternate with 28 points. When I talked to the lady in limited entry she told me a couple times it looked promising for me. So. Hope that means I'm at the top of the list!

do alternates have ranking?

coz i was told,randomly chosen once spot is open

I asked when I picked up my packed what # on the alternate list I was and she told me. So I wonder if they rank by points or if everyone with x number of points is chosen randomly when a spot opens.
