There really isn't an average number but my I'm in 4th semester and my cohort lost the most during and after first semester so you might have a good chance if they accept you as a transfer. I believe 124 were accepted initially and only about 105 moved on to 4th. We now have 100 I think.
You have accomplished all the way through to your 4th semester Christina?
Wow, congratulations! So proud ~
Thank you for sharing your experience, what would I do without AllNurses being here to support each other
Yep, I'm pretty proud to say that I will become a nurse in exactly 2 months and 8 days!
I don't know what I would have done without AllNurses. I found this site on the day I turned in my application in July of 2012 and I have met some pretty awesome peeps here!

I may be able to jump into CSN as a 2nd semester transfer student & am wondering if anyone there has experience knowing the average number of students who have to drop out 1st semester at CSN? If I only get in as a new applicant I would have to retake my 1st semester again at CSN and my lifetime financial aid and excess credit appeals are very limited, so I am trying to make the best decision possible.
I am scrambling to replan my everything now that NSC has doubled their tuition
with such short notice (they finalize $8000 increase a few weeks before the semester is to begin). I should know better than to put all my eggs in one basket, so to speak. But if I do one semester at NSC this January then transfer to CSN in the fall, I may be able to afford my dreams of becoming a good nurse ~ Thank you for your help
