CSN fall 2016

Published

Hello everybody! I was just curious if there are any other fellow classmates applying for the fall 2016 nursing program at college of southern Nevada? I am applying early (I'll be short 224 and com 101) but hoping to get picked early! Anybody else apply to csn early and get accepted? Looking forward to hearing from you all

Hello,

My first time applying will be Spring 2016! I'm excited and nervous.

Yes! I applied a day before the deadline. I believe I have 31 pts so it's sort of on the low end (I will be making sure with the limited entry lady) but hopefully I still get accepted! I am taking Biol 251 this semester, so if I don't make it, than atleast I will have 36 pts next year. Anyways, I am very anxious and for those who applied to Spring 2016, GOOD LUCK! :)

I hope to get in on Fall 2016 as well. I still need to do my TEAS in oct, and finishing my BIO 224 and 251 this sem.

I am signed up to take the Kaplan in November! Has anybody heard feedback on it yet? Compared to the TEAS?

I took the Kaplan test today for the first time and passed with an 81%. I took the TEAS in the past and did not do as well. I feel the Kaplan test was easier than the TEAS.

I'm getting ready to turn in my packet. Is anyone else ready?

I have all of my prerequisites I just need to pass the kaplan test. I failed reading last time :( my test is February 1st. If I pass I will get in for sure♡ fingers crossed.

The deadline will be here before we know it. Yikes.

When you take the test again, make sure you are relaxed. I find the reading section is more about technique than knowledge. Ex. If the first question asks something about paragraph three, only read paragraph three to find your answer. There is no need to read the entire passage before reading all the questions. That's how a lot of people run out of time. Hope that helps.

That's where I'm at too! I didn't pass the Kaplan the first time and I'm taking it again in February. I'm applying early though. How has everybody studied for the Kaplan? I heard the book is a waste of money....

I passed the writing math and science so I'm just focusing on reading and brushing up on everything else I'm using the sat reading comprehension books by Kaplan. What do you mean you're applying early after you pass the test? I just moved out here from San Diego and I just want to get in
