hey there, I am looking for information regarding the acceptance into Nursing for Fall 2016 CSI, college of staten island. i have the information about the pre reques. and NLN exam from the college website. but i want to know the real information from former/current students, how many students are accepted in each semester(total seats for one sem) and what is average NLN exam score and GPA the college is looking for? Is any body waiting for acceptance for Fall 2016, you can leave comments also. Has anybody taken NLN for Fall.

There are lot of CSI students who wants the information regarding these, So any current nursing student or prospective students applying can help out and give some information. this will be great platform for networking and future CSI Nursing applicants.

Your inputs are much appreciated.:) Thanks !!!

I agree with Jennifer about CSI's program. There are things that certainly frustrated me, but all in it's alot better than any of the bigger named schools in Manhattan. The program has improved quite a bit, and it has become more competitive to get in. In the end though I think the program is doable, and many of the professors end up being helpful.

I just got into the CSI program and must I say it is tough to get into. Its my first week of classes. I had a 127 on my NLN_PAX with a GPA of 3.9 and I was still unsure I would get in. I have some girl in my clinical group who had a 110 with a 3.4 gpa. Its really uncertain how the selections are done but to be safe you have to make yourself as competitive as you can. Now that I got in, I have to go figure how to stay in the program and pass my NCLEX. Goodluck evryone!

Yes you do, and i Hope you got in

I feel 110 is really doable it's 120 that gets the most people. Just read, pay attention in class, and do lots of questions. I think one of CSI's strongest points are the two 110 professors.

Hello! I am currently a freshman and I am interested in transferring CSI nursing program for Spring 2021. I was also thinking of Hunter and City tech but hunter seems way to competitive and city tech nursing program is messy. I was wondering how are the classes/ professors at csi and how supportive is the nursing program?
