CrossCountryCorps Nurse Travel Agency

I am thinking about using CrossCountryCorps Nurse Travel Agency.

Want to here the good and the bad. Thinking of Alexandria Virginia or Columbus Ohio. I am a retired USAF Nurse. Thinking about staying near or on nearby military base. Got any input. Thanks from West Virginia. David

Specializes in OB.

I've been with Cross Country for over 8 yrs. now. For me they have been a very good company. They are one of the larger companies, so they do have more positions in more areas than some of the smaller companies. I have never had any problems with my pay being correct and on time. Their payrate tends to fall in about the midrange for any given area, but the benefits are better than many. The housing they have put me up in is very good to excellent (last summer they put me in a house with it's own in ground pool!) They do have the issue of "shared free housing" when you first start with them (pay the difference to have private) though they are getting away from this recently and it is often negotiable.

Other travelers I know have had negative experiences with CCTC, but I can't speak to that. If you want a broad range of opinions go to Delphiforums.com and go to the Travel Nurses & Therapists site there. Do a search and you will get quite a variety of opinions on just about every company.

Feel free to email me if I can answer any other questions for you.
