I have two pairs of the Cayman style crocs -- one orange, one blue. I have a question for crocs fanatics:

Have any of you noticed a difference in the feel of Cayman style crocs vs. Beach style? I know that they look VERY similar, and the only difference I believe is that the beach ones are a little bit wider, but when I tried them on in the store, I thought the Cayman ones were MUCH more comfortable.

I originally bought a pair of orange Cayman-style crocs like 2-3 years ago and thought they were the bomb. Went recently to try to find some blue (royal) ones for work and tried on what I thought were the same thing only to find the shoe was a lot harder, not as squishy-cozy-like. Those were the Beach style crocs -- lucky me found the Cayman ones in blue, but I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed a difference in the comfort level between styles?

I thought all the "holes" i have are beaches maybe only the pearl are because I have noticed a big comfort difference in my fuschia and chocolate ones. I have heard too that it depends on what facility manuf your shoes that the ones manuf in the china plant arent as comfy as those from canada but I havent found that to be true with mine. I even emailed crocs about it and they denied any manuf differences in the shoes and said they didnt know why the shoes felt different.

I agree. I love Crocs and I have a really bad back,(herniated disks in the upper and lower and two pinched nerves). I am a woman of "healthy" proportions too so I was concerned. But, I can even run in them. I learned this working on a step down unit. You cannot very well say, " I got to take a raincheck on the code because I wore the wrong shoes." I am not brave enough yet to get orange or green ones but I have black ones and white ones. Also, under stress my feet used to sweat and my Nikes were not anything nice after a long day. But, now, with these shoes you have ac.

Mine are chocolate brown, and I wear them everywhere EXCEPT work and working out.

I swear by shoebuy! I wanted green and I also didn't like the lime green, but I purchased the kelly green cayman crocs off of shoebuy for only $23 using a coupon code. (Because I couldn't find kelly green in stores and I live in NYC!) With free shipping and free return shipping I figured I'd just send them back if I didn't like how they fit. I am so excited to wear my new crocs! I am planning to buy the white professional crocs from shoebuy if these green cayman ones are comfortable for everyday use. I highly suggest shoebuy because they have so many colors and styles of crocs! :twocents:

do not be fooled like i was! i was still in nursing school, on a very tight budget and i thought..."they look just like crocs, just without the little croc on the button." boy, you should never skimp on shoes. they were light, at first. not the same in the long run and they did not last at all. stick with an original. but i have the little pins in the ones i do not wear to work. you have to maintain some professional aire, right?:yeah:oh, i am a hurricane nurse and that is a good price for kelly green.

mine are pink and khaki!
