Croatia nurse eligible to work in Canada?

Hi all,

I have a couple of questions regarding RN position in Canada. I have finished a nursing school here in Zagreb in 2000., It was a four year programm. But after that I did not worked in public sector, and did not persued a license to practise. I have worked as a nurse in camps in summer time for five years now and I was not asked to have a license. Is my experience relevant and admisable as working experience even without license?

Am I eligible to work in Canada as Nurse and will I need to go to some kind of retraining?

The province College of RN will ask for a license in the country you trained in. Whether you otherwise meet requirements only the college will make that determination based on your application form
