doing CRNE in october 2007

hi! i'm a portuguese nurse and i'm doing the examination in this october.maybe in london/ontario. anywhone out there is doing this one too?

i graduated in 2002 in portugal, and now i'm studying all over again plus learning canadian nursing. so much to study! getting like this :uhoh3:.

if there's someone who wants to keep in touch while studying for the exame that would be great.:lol2:

I am a RGN in the UK. I qualified in 1983. I will be taking the CRNE in October too. I am taking it in Nova Scotia. Where are you going to be doing it?

I'll be doing it in Ontario (still don't know if it's going to be in london city-1ºchoise or toronto city-2ºchoise).I'll be advised 3 weeks before.

did you get the crne prep guide and the blueprint?How are you studying?

I have been doing the prep guide, mostly from the CD ROM. I have been trying to look up terminology/drugs which are different from the UK and I have been brushing up on basics like shock.

I have downloaded the code of ethics and I am trying to find out as much info on local issues as I can such as First Nations issues and diseases like west nile virus.

I plan to do the online readiness test in a week or two.

What have you been doing?

i also have plan to write exam in oct. i am in ontario but write it in Hamilton.

iam male nurse from jordan and iam going to write crne exam in toronto my first choice but i did not prepare to the exam that much because i do not think will be difficult

Think again. Do you know how many overseas nurses fail this exam? You should at least get the study guide.

Weee! this is encouraging, knowing i'm not alone.. lol

I'm taking my exam this oct. 10 as well. I just received my confirmation letter yesterday (i'm taking the exam at the univ. of British Columbia).man, i am a nervous wreck right now, studying for the last 6wks. Hope we all pass!!!!
