anyone have a clue WHERE in Kingston the CRNE will be held in June? I plan on driving up and staying in a hotel the night before and it might be helpful if I can get a hotel somewhere near the place. I already called the CNO and they said that the location would be disclosed when I get my i.d. 2 weeks beforehand. They said they hadn't decided on a locale (what?). Just curious.

I'm thinking it would be somewhere like the Queens or St. Lawrence college campus.

Thanks

If the CNO hasn't decided then it is unlikely anyone here would know. I wrote the CRPNE in Hamilton and it was done at a conference centre. It could be done anywhere.

Like loriangel said, it quite literally could be anywhere that can accommodate several hundred people. I wrote mine in a hotel ballroom.

The main reason I asked is that I'm not familiar with the system for testing etc in Canada. I'm new to this situation. I thought someone might have some clue better than me (the NCLEX I took was in a Sylvan center by myself in a room alone on a computer).

I'm trying my best to get to this thing on time and in good shape to test. For one,I have this thing called the border to contend with (I don't get stopped but lord knows what could happen). Also, my recent house hunting expedition got screwed up in Ottawa by the recent playoffs and lack of any lodging anywhere near where I was looking. I would prefer not to be 20 miles from the testing center. This is why I asked.

Anyhow, thanks for all the help. I got my tag from the CNO today and it said the test is in a hotel conference room in Kingston.

Good luck to all on June 2nd!
