Hi everyone, Im an Irish nurse preparing for the CRNEs for February 2012 in Toronto. Didnt see any thread for this exam in February, so thought id start one. How is everyone preparing? Im using the CRNE prep guide doing Qs and studying the competencies. Any tips/advice? Happy studying!!

My friends who took the CRNE June 1st of last year got their results July 11. Gahhhh!!! I don't like waiting!!!!

How does everyone else feel about the exam?? I thought it was so tricky and when looking up a lot of my answers many of them were wrong :( I feel so dumb. I am just wondering how other people felt about how it went.

It seemed harder than the practice tests.

I don't know if anyone else had this issue, but my answer sheet was printed incorrectly. The answer bubbles had white backgrounds but on my sheet some of the number 4 had the darker pinkish background. I hope the computer can tell the difference and doesn't see that as me choosing two bubbles on one line!

The exam was very difficult and tricky, I don’t know how some people say it was easy, plus the time was not enough to analyze the questions carefully

I agree that it was difficult and definitely not enough time to go over the exam once more.

I barely finished it on time, just about 2 minutes before they said to stop :(

I agree with most others-it was definitely difficult....I thought I prepared and felt very unsure/stupid leaving the room at the end.

I'm trying to stay positive and believe that I worked hard in my degree and beyond....and hoping that the education adequately prepared me for the exam/life ahead! Good luck to everyone and crossed fingers (and toes) that we have passed!!! Oh, I'll also cross fingers and toes that we get results back asap-the wait is TORTURE!!

I definitely found that test to be a lot harder than the practice exams. I came out feeling pretty deflated, honestly. I'm really unsure how this exam will go for me. I'm praying I passed!

I too sat the test on Wed 01st Feb, and like others, i feel the exam set was way harder than any test questions!!!!! I felt prepared till i sat and looked at the paper, then my heart just sank!!! I know i have failed, as i have played the questions asked, and the answers i gave over and over, and have kicked myself at the answers i put down!!!! Too late was the cry!!! I can only hope and pray that i passed, but i wont be holding my breath!!! I can not afford to pay out for another try and so will have to look to different work as i couldn`t take this again!!!!

You will have to try to be patient. I remember how awful the wait was, but what can you do? We left wondering about the outcome....everyone does. I wrote in 2010. Hopefully, you will have good news in a few weeks :)

I WROTE CRNE this Feb 2012......I am confused about how I did.....I am not able to decide how it went.....anybody who took exam in Feb 2012 want to say something about it?
