I understand that the temporary licence expires March 1st every year. I'm planning to take CRNE next February but just found out that it usually takes 4-8 weeks for the results to come out. If the result can't come out by March 1st, is it possible to ask for renewal of the temporary registration? Anybody has thought about this issue before?
Thanks!

You only ask for a temporary licence if you need that, like if you have an employer, a confirmed start date and a visa to do so. And then you want the licence just shortly before you start your new job. Everything else is wasted money.
Don't know about the expiration in BC.
In your situation I would apply for a job now and try to find an employer. Or do you plan to take CRNE first fly back home and then apply?
And why do you wait until February to take CRNE?
