CRNA VS RN intensive care

Published

Does anyone know how much an entry level CRNA makes yearly VS an RN who has worked in ICU for at least 3 years grave yard shift ?$$????? Estimate please..Thanks:welcome:

Note: I'm living in San Jose California

Specializes in MICU, neuro, orthotrauma.
I can tell you as a Bay Area native who now lives in Houston that, that cost of living calculator is wrong, wrong, wrong. Our family income is around that 58k mark and we live in a house that's 10 years old and almost 3000 sq ft. in a great neighborhood with excellent schools. Our house sold for well under 200k.

On a salary of 88k in San Jose, you couldn't find anything close to our home for under a million. No way no how.

gracias. i didnt think that cost of living was near equivalent, but i wasnt familiar with san jose housing. all i knew was that it was very near san fran.

Malpractice for CRNAs is usally just a coule of thousand dollars and should be covered by the hospital or agency unless you are a 10-99 lochums, so it's really a moot point.

Don't forget to cost factor in the difference in malpractice.
