Thanks for the response Suzzane, No it's not an LPN to RN. It's an ADN program. I do 9 months at IUON (international University of Nursing) St. Kitts, and then go straight to Oklahoma State College 9 months. (NLNAC Accredited)..I graduate from Oklahoma State w the Degree and be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN... -Mark

Suzzane I preety much have the same question. I just need some advice. I just got accepted to a program that allows me to bridge over to Oklahoma State and sit in for their NCLEX-RN exam. But I am a California resident and wish to work here not Oklahoma. I read a lot of the posts and was wondering which would be the fastest route to take Assuming no prob w/ FBI finger prints etc.. . Would it be ....... A)Graduate from Oklahoma State take the NCLEX over there , move back to cali and Endorse to a permanent license...? B) Graduate, from Oklahoma and apply to take NCLEX in CA?w/ out endorsement? Help??????????????

SO BY THE TIME YOU'RE DONE, YOU'LL BE TAKING YOUR NCLEX-RN NEXT YEAR .THERE'S NO WAITING LIST. I GOT IN. IF YOU WANTED TO WORK IN CALIFORNIA EITHER ENDORSE THE NCLEX RN OR APPLY TO SIT IN FOR NCLEX HERE IN SAC. BY THE WAY I HAVE A 3.5 GPA AND A BACHELORS AND DID WELL IN ALL MY PRE REQS. Congratulations Diddle it's nice to hear that some one applying to Sammuel Merrit did really well!! Diddle I have a few questions and concern. I'm registered to take the NET exam at Samuel Merritt on the 19th of this month (Aug). But I really don't know if I I'm ready. I bought the NET exam guide from KAPLAN and the NET exam guide from Cliff Study review. I took most of the practice exams on reading comprehension and averaged 60% on all of them which really sucks. I find that very disappointing. This doesn't help my confidence at all. I'm applying for the upcoming ABSN in May as well as a BSN transfer in January. Which ever gets me in is where I'm going regardless of the cost. I have two prereqs left to take this fall. (Micro and Physio) I am betting Samuel Merritt looks at the NET as an indicator for an interview aside from GPA. Well here's my question, I recently ordered the ERI study guide you suggested to use. I was wondering how many hours and days did you put in studying for the NET before taking it ??? I love to study but , did you feel the ERI material was all that you needed???? Well I have about two weeks and I hate cramming thats why I"m putting in at least 4-6 hours a day. The study guide from ERI should be here by Sat...Would you recommend that's what I should soley focus on for the home stretch??? The reading comprehensionis my main concern ..I mean I get A's in English 1A 1B 1C , but I'm failing these practice comprehension tests. This doesn't make any sense at all.
