For all of you going to school in the DFW area or currently working there could you tell me what hospitals would be a good place to work for after graduationg. A fellow classmate of mine is looking to relocate there and I thought I would ask you all about it. What places offer good cases for CRNA's along with autonomy and regional experience?
Thanks in advance

Try gaswork.com its the largest online anesthesia jobsite around. Here parkland is pretty CRNA friendly.
Thanks, they can find jobs but I was looking for insider info from anyone in the area.

A possible reason for not alot of CRNA jobs in Dallas could be that Dallas has the highest salary for Anesthesiologists of any city, which means alot of Anesthesiologists working here.
I thought if anesthesiologist pay is higher more opportunity for CRNAs to drive the cost down ? may be I am wrong . Any one working for Pinnacle group , since they are the biggest group may be future employer in DFW

Dallas, in general, isn't very CRNA-friendly with the exception of Parkland. However, you'll work your butt off at PMH. Methodist can be brutal for new grads, not too sure about Baylor.

Plaza medical is an awesome place for independence, autonomy, etc. Not sure about the amount of regional work done there, but it is a pretty much CRNA run show!
