Hello all! I've spent over 5 years in the NICU and have an interview for CRNA school coming up soon. Was wondering if anyone has any insight into what that might look like? I'm worried I might need to brush up on my adult knowledge. Or maybe, in your experience, your interviewers stuck to questions related directly to your respective ICU background? Any help is appreciated as I am so stoked yet so stressed. Thanks!

I have no insight, but I'm also a NICU nurse looking to head down this road. Where are you interviewing at? Are you level 3 or 4?
I’ve only interviewed one place so far (Emory) aaaaand unfortunately I’m not super stoked on how I did. I’m hoping to interview at one or two more. I worked in two different level IV NICUs; what about you? Have you applied yet?
I havent applied anywhere, I'm still going back and forth between crna and nnp. CRNA is what ive always wanted to do, but it would involve dragging the husband and kids out of state vs being able to stay here and do nnp. Im only in a level 3 nicu (5 years exp) right now, but in August im going to apply to the local new to specialty level 4 program. I have been trying to get into adult icus for the last 2 years and i get interviews, but as soon as I start talking babies their eyes just glaze over.
