I am interested in learning what options are available for CRNAs in regards to professional liability insurance. I did a search on the web and didn't find much. Do any of you know of some good resources out there or have any wisdom to impart. Thanks,

Go to the AANA web site. AANA.com AANA is pretty much the only place to get Liability Insurance for CRNA's, wanting their own individual policy. CNA is the insurance co. my policy is thru via AANA.

Depends on what state or states you practice in. I live in Kansas City. Missouri is about double the cost of Kansas. I'm guessing anywhere from $2k - 6k. is the average. Of course tax deductible, if your 1099.About how much does liability insurance cost if you are going about it alone?

Correct me if I'm wrong: Its my understanding, the longer you practice...the higher your premium gets. More cases --therefore potentially more liability.
What is the general statue of limitation for adult cases? Are most states 7 yrs? If thats true in your particular state, would your insurance premium max out at 7 years? Do you ever get a "safe-driver" discount ??
