CRNA FIU Starting Spring 2019

Hello everyone! Recently applied to FIU's program, and just wanted to know if anyone out there (there has to be) has also sent in there application. Want to get a feel for my possible future Classmates and general information.

Oh true that's not it... I guess there's no specific way to their madness. We will just have to wait for the acceptance or denial

Yes, I am sure. The email was from Maryelis, the same lady that sent out the interview emails. She is the program coordinator from what I understand. The letter is dated 5/21/18 and is addressed to "the future Dr. (my full name), DNP, CRNA". It then goes on to say congrats and welcome to the next chapter of your career, etc. Then there is a second paper that asks you to sign and return your acceptance or decline by May 28th. It is signed by the chair of the department.

And my last name is a K so I don't know the method. Maybe they start with the highest points and wait for some people to decline before sending out more? No clue. But it is definitely official and I am happy to be accepted! I know the wait sucks, but hang in there.

The suspense is getting to me... Day 3 and so far only about 4 people have stated that they've been accepted. Hopefully more of us will hear good news today

That is interested that you received your admission letter the day you were interviewed. iI thought you posted that you received it in 5/21. Wow

The last day to interview was the 19th so maybe she meant two days after?

Strong candidates were offered acceptance into the program prior to the completion of interviews. I suppose this is what FIU was referring to when they spoke about early admission on their website. Congratulations to those already accepted. (:

I only made it known that I was accepted on the 21st, but I didn't say that I received my letter that day. Trust me, I was very excited when I got the news and it took a lot of effort to not post it here earlier. I only wish the best for others and sincerely hope everyone on this thread gets accepted! =)

Enjoy your acceptance you deserved it!!! Everyone worked very hard, I hope we will hear positive responses very soon.
