I'm about to start the process of CRNA application for 2027 enrollment. Who is with me?

If anyone is looking to meet pre-requisite chemistry requirements, check out the University of the Incarnate Word. Their new program begins August 2026 and they are offering a 3 credit "Transitions" course that aims to meet chemistry requirements. It include some math, physics, and an intro to anesthesia pharmacology.

What are the minimal requirements for CRNA applications, I am looking to apply in a few years but I don't want to cram everything to the last minute. How many shadow hours are people doing? Is the application process extremely competitive? How is the work / school balance? and How many years of ICU experience did needed (realistically)?
