CRNA Application for Barry May 2022 Cohort

Published

Is anyone planning on applying for this cohort. I am trying to add the program in my nursing Cas and Barry is not showing up. Any ideas?

@malenurse988 I spoke to the admissions committee and they said that the CCRN is required. The admissions committee will only begin to review your application once it is completed and they have the certificate. I think in the past it was recommended but not required which is why the website says that.

Good day everyone!

Just got my scheduled interview around the end of October. Aiming for Orlando campus. This will be my first and only online interview so I’d like my interview to be unhindered by technical difficulties. Do you guys have any advice on set up and on the interview itself?

@Mikie Sarabia Congrats on your invitation! do you mind you share your stats please?

Specializes in CVICU.

Following! Submitted my app late September. Good luck everyone!

Hi, I wanted to know if I could know what your scores were to see if I even have a chance at getting in.

I have a cumulative GPA of 3.63 from SDSU

3 years in ICU

Combined GRE: 327    Quant 170    Verbal 157

Congratulations. I hope to be in your position in the future.

I would say CCRN is what you’ll need. Other than that your stats is similar to mine. I came from a compound ICU with trauma, sicu, MICU, neuro ICU and cicu for relatively the same time. I’m not sure if it’ll matter but I’ve also clocked in over 40hours of shadows with CRNAs.

Thank you so much.

Has anyone else been waitlisted? I was told the list would be revisited in Jan. Has anyone else heard anything similar?

I was told the same thing in the event of getting waitlisted. Still waiting on my results, estimated 2 weeks from now. Fingers crossed and hoping to hear promising things.

Did they talk to you about being wait listed during your interview?

How long did it take for you guys to hear back?

No this was during their online campus tour. They had a Q and A session after. Someone brought it up.
