My husband and I are both nurses with fifteen years of experience who are looking in the same direction! we are in our forties, but we are curious about what others' experiences have been. I was even looking online at houses on Vancouver Island. I believe the NCLEX is accepted for certification there, and an English proficiency test ( if not in Quebec) is required. I don't know much more. I would love a Canadian ex-pat could join this convo!

I am a BSN prepared RN with 18 years of experience in various areas, including oncology, critical care, telemetry, and postpartum. I am considering seeking employment in Canada, and I would like to know what the experience of other nurses has been working in Canada. I have considered this possibility of travel nursing, however, I have 2 dogs who I am not willing to leave behind. Also, I am 58 years old (nursing was a midlife career change). I anticipate working at least 14 more years as I have been blessed with good health and good longevity genes😄
