Creighton 2011

U.S.A. Nebraska

Hey everyone!! I didn't see any forums for those of us hoping to go to Creighton in 2011, either in Jan or Aug. So, how's everyone's process going? I just applied almost 3 weeks ago and am hoping for Jan admission. I e-mail the recruiter right before I completed my application and was told there were still spots open for January. She said I would hear back in about 4-6 weeks...so that's coming up shortly!! Has anyone heard back yet on their app? It seems like the revolving admissions allow for a better chance. Has anyone been completely denied? Do they wait list extra people? Good luck to everyone in my shoes!! =) hopefully we'll be in nursing school in 7 months!!! :nurse:

Keep in mind that as the year goes on, you spend less and less time on campus and more days in clinicals that are spread out through Omaha and Council Bluffs, IA. I live in Harrison Hills in La Vista and love it. Its quiet and I never worry about crime or not feeling safe. It's about 20-25 min from campus, but that didn't bother me, coming from California and being used to hour commutes to school. I'm finishing the program in 4 weeks!! Can't wait! let me know if you have any questions about the program or Omaha!

Hello everyone!

I am a fourth year in college from Northern California and I am very interested in Creighton's ABSN program. Would any of the accepted students mind sending me their stats to see if I compare at all? I would appreciate the advise!

Hi! Im starting August 2012 for the ABSN program, I am from Seattle and have never been to Omaha. I am still in search for an apartment. What is the best way to go about looking for a roommate? Is there a way to contact everyone is the class to see where people are living/ if anyone needs a roommate?

Hi Lauren4268,

I have just been accepted into the accelerated BSN program at Creighton University and I wanted to know if I could ask you about the program since I am living and from California. I had read some bad reviews about this program stating that it is unorganized and confusing because they had up to 16 professors teaching the course. Also, in terms of living did you live on campus? Were the professors helpful if you needed extra help or were there tutoring services? Did it prepare you well for the NCLEX exam?
