I applied for my nursing licensure evaluation at IERF from France beginning of March 2011. After 3 months they rejected my evaluation. After a hard call phone they finally explained what they wanted: a letter from my nursing school signed by the director saying I completed all the courses and I passed all the tests and diploma (they already had all my academic records sent by the school and translated in English as well as my diplomas) and finally I received my evaluation in October 2011 in the US.I applied for Florida first, but in June IERF told me Florida is not easy, it will be better if I applied for another state or more. So I paid the fee for two more states (California and North Carolina). I choose these states because there were on the list of IERF and I like to live in these areas too.

Nursing State Licensing Boards that Accept IERF Evaluations
- Arizona
- Arkansas
- California
- Florida
- Michigan (vocational nursing only)
- Missouri
- New Mexico
- North Carolina
- North Dakota
- Oregon
- Texas
- Vermont
I applied on line for the Florida nursing board, and I sent an email to the California nursing board to know what I have to do. They answered me that they DO NOT accept credentialing service report. I Read on the North Carolina that they don’t accept IERF too.
So if you need a credential review for California or North Carolina don’t use IERF!
ok, so i applied to the IERF in Jan 2011.....eventually after much chasing around by ME(!) i got my results through 18 months later. one area it said I had failed on was microbiology......is this not included in basic nursing care such as handwashing and tissue viability or do i need to go to uni again to be a microbiologist? Also IERF lost my IELTS exam paper and then claimed never to have received it.......cowboys looking for quick $$$$ if you ask me. She said to resend would cost me $200, plus they failed to notify me that vermont is no longer taking applicants without a SSN from May 2012. I found this out by accident in Sept.......what do I do????
Hi Fred!
I am a nurse and I would like to submit my application for licensure in the USA. In Arkansas.
After reading about the CGFNS and the IERF, the second one seems to be easier to me.
I saw that you did your CES with them to and that's why I would really appreciate it if you could gice me some advice about how to do exactly.
Thank you very much in advance for you answer! :)
