Guys,

Is there any body who knows which of this three organizations i can pay less upon application of my credentials evaluation. Im from Philippines and i will just apply by myself independently for NCLEX. These are www.cgfns.org, www.ERES.com , and www.ierf.org?

Go for the Full education report as that is the more detailed report. The reasoning for this is if you plan to endorse to other States or plan to go for further education in the US in the future you would be more ahead with the full report. Also, Boards only requiring the HC Profession and Science report will most likely accept the more detailed Full Report but not the other way around.

thanks for that very quick reply. I also would like to ask if I'm going to request all my previous schools for the academic reports other than my nursing school. Nursing is my second course and it just confuse me on whether or not to request my two previous schools of the said academic report ( is this the TOR?)

If you are were in a second courser course, the transcript from the first course is integrated with your nursing transcripts. You will notice that when you get hold of your copy of your transcripts from your registrar and so you would no longer request your school where you took the first course to send a separate transcript to CGFNS.

Hello Lawrance,

I have read your thread regarding the new requirments set by NM BON.

Lawrance, when applying for credential evaluation by CGFNS, they require all of your primary and secondary school education. It was a long time since I was at primary and secondary school, I am not sure if I could retrieve that information. What would you suggest I do? I ave requested my transcript from my nursing school and they have been sent off.

I will be posting my application to CGFNS along with the fees tomorrow.

Actually, that req't is waived if you have graduated more than 10 years from sec. school, so no problem. Kindly, double check on this on the new 2008 Hand book but this has always been the case, including the Visa Screen Certification. You will still have to write it down though in the application form but that is all.

Also, you may want to contact NM BON and clarify if they accept a copy of the CES report coming from you as their new ruling says it has to be included on your application and if so, if they still want to wait for the official one from CGFNS as well (part of the service).

The way I interpret it, is that they would want it that way. Seems like they want everything done first before even applying to them.

I wrote to Sabrina at the NM BON, asking her if GCFNS sent a copy of the CES to the BON. She replied "no they will need to go back to you and you will submit a complete packet to the board"

That sounds to me they will accept a copy of the CES report coming from myself.

I will have to wait before I submit my application to the BON. What do you think. I have requested eveything and submitted my application and fee now to CGFNS.

Yes. That is clear now. You have to wait for your copy of the CES report and you have to submit a copy of it to be included in your application form to the Boards. Thanks for sharing Ms. Sabrina's reply to you.

CES is fast becoming a tailor-made Evaluation Service for each Board and under the individual Board's terms.

Not so long ago, it is pretty much uniform for every Board using it and pretty much under CGFN's terms.
