I will be starting an ADN program this fall and I am a bit nervous about the CPR class that I am registered in. The problem is that I'm a bit overweight and getting up and down to and from the floor may be a problem for me. Has anyone here had the same problem, or will it even be a problem for me? I'm assuming that we will have to be on the floor on our knees for at least a portion of the training. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hello,
I just had to resert on 8-10. CPR is something everyone should know. The reason it is performed is to bring someone back to life. I'm glad you decided to take this class as you may have regretted dropping it later in life.
Also in a real situation, your adrenalin is pumping and you may be moving like you have never moved before.

Thank you so much so everyone for your comments. I'm so glad that I found this website. I was thinking about dropping the class and taking it later, but thanks to everyone's positive responses I've decided to go ahead and take the class, which by the way is tommorrow... I know this is going to be a physically demanding career path, but it definitely will give me the incentive to whip myself into shape;)
