CPNRE - September & October 2018

Published

Hey guys!

Didn't see a current thread so I thought I'd make one for those writing their CPNRE exam this fall . I'm currently set to write my exam in October and I'm super nervous . Hoping to keep in contact with other's writing during this time so we can exchange study tips and keep each other up to date regarding when results are being announced .

So far I've been using the prep guides along with my school notes & the saunder's book for the areas I feel weaker in. I'm mainly just unsure if I am studying effectively. Those who have previously wrote the exam and passed are also free to drop some tips

I recieved mine but failed. Can someone help me with how many I passed. Mine score was 276,the average score was 350 and the maximum score was 477.thanks and congrats to all those that pass

Did you receive an email? I did not get any email. I am not sure if the change in status on my permit means I pass the exam.

Please!!! That'd be really grateful. Is it possible to ask you what was the mark you got in July?!:(

It was pretty low the first time around lol i wouldn't focus on your overall score amount, but focus on the areas you scored the lowest. Do the predictor test, figure out your areas of weakness and study those areas. I'm assuming to pass the CPNRE you'd need about a 70-75% thats 120/170. You probably weren't far off. Study your areas of weakness and i am confident you will pass next time. I found the first time, I went back and changed answers which is a big no no. The program that comes inside the Saunders book was the best resource I used to study hands down. Stay positive.

Yes,I received an email

Please what is the latest Saunders edition?

Based on the numbers you have, the overall average passing grade was above 73%.

@Babbyg...My best advice to you, complete the predictor test and this will give you a breakdown of your strengths and weaknesses in each areas. If you remembered the different types of questions you had on your exam, try to review the topics. Practice, practice and practice the CPRNE 3-5 editions. These questions will prepare you well of how to answer the questions on your exam. Finally, always remember to pray, stay positive and tell yourself YOU CAN DO IT. All the best.

Thanks @ faith1314,please do you know the latest edition of Saunders?I am a little bit downí ½í¸¥

I have the Saunders 6th edition. I'm not sure if there's a new edition recently.

What is the passing score then?

The passing score never really stays the same. For example, passing mark for May 2017 was 71% I believe, and this time around was around 73% (based on a previous comment above).

@ ellemnop... I think the average passing grade for June-July 2018 was above 75%. It seems like every exam window the grades fluctuates.
