CPNRE exam Jan-Feb 2021

Hey everyone, 

I thought I would start a page for anyone writing the CPNRE in Jan-Feb 2021. Please share any advice, tips or things you used that you found really prepared you for the exam! We can also keep each other updated when results are released.

Hi guys...Congratulations to all those who passed.

 

? I landed in Canada 6 months back and started doing my RN refresher program . Even started working as PSW too . With 3 weeks of preparation I wrote this exam and I scored 90 and failed in my first attempt . I used Saunders ( I tried to do its questions) 

 

I feel so heart broken ..I am thinking ..should I quit job and prepare again with my on going college ?RN courses will take another 8 months to finish before I start going to clinical( hopefully it would b for 6-10 months I guess ) 

Even my English proficiency documents are not updated at CNO website yet.

What do you guys suggest ?

I am sorry to hear this. Can you retake the exam? Did they tell you what is the passing score? If you can retake the exam, retake it again.

? yes they did send a report with it..I scored 90. they have stated minimum requirement in each category .

@Nia J . So sorry to hear you failed! I suggest you work part time and retake the exams. You can do it!

I feel like crying now ? but yes will retake it . I have my course exams now.Will check dates first. Thank you guys for consoling . I feel so broken

retake the exam and review and focus on what you think is your weakness.

The CPNRE prep guide is a good start. I found that the exam is similar to the questions on the guide.

Hi can u tell me the total of each section ....like the one that says average not the maximum...n I think u should take coaching for this . I took coaching and passed ...I can you suggest u the centre if I are up for it ...plz lemme know the total of average score of each division ...just add the average scores of each division

You can try Saunders ...the green boxes on it will help ....they have imp information

N this is nothing ...OK ..just go for June now...one thing I have learnt is that it’s not about the deep knowledge of disease conditions...just the situational questions ..focus on that
