CPNE sites & dates

Hi. I just signed up for excelsior and I am waiting for NC1 study guide to come in. Im just wondering about the CPNE test dates & sites for New York. I have heard that it takes a while like 4-9 months to even get a test date. Can I apply to take the CPNE before I have done NC1-7 or do I have to wait until everything is done? And also, is it really that long of a wait for all testing sites?? Thank You!

i know you have to wait until all the concept test are done but i think you can have 10 hours of general studies left.. you need to clarify that though. i have heard over and over that the wait is at least 6 months. however, you can request a cancellation date, but you better be ready when they call you cause i have heard some people getting real soon dates like this.
