i am sure we all have so many questions, whenever i think of something i send them an email... i do not post on epn because i feel everyone is giving their "opinions" and sometimes the faculty doesn't correct them.... so i will list some of the questions that i sent to them, hope everyone do the same... we will pass cpne!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not sure what type of injections we would be assigned besides insulin, Lovenox, Heparin and something IM.... but I would say in a PCS situation where you are right in front of the patient recapping is not good practice, I know where I work we have a no recap policy--we don't EVER mix insulin, against policy, too much room for error... so I am assuming at a hospital like UUH it might be similar.. We have insulin pens. So truly I am not sure and I am sure if you ask EC you will get four different answers LOL!!! The girl that posted that said she knew it was wrong the minute she did it....
