I am scheduled to test July 23-25 at St. Mary's in Madison, WI. My study partner rec'd her date for July 9-11 at St. Mary's. We both live in Louisiana about 18-20hr drive. If anyone is scheduled either of these dates and would like to swap with us so that we could travel together it would be a blessing. We have contacted MPAC and put on cancellation list if anything opens. It would make us extremely happy:dncgbby:

IMO, I think its best if you both don't go together. Its great that you are learning and practicing with each other. On the CPNE weekend, you don't need distractions. What if she fails on the first night. It will make you nervous and possibly loose focus on the task that you need to pass. She could tell you about the CE that she feels that was unfair to her and if you get that CE you could get nervous based on what she said and mess up. This is my opinion and I hope you really think about it. Good Luck and congrats!
I think it would be OK. She's very supportive and encouraging. I am a strong nurse and very focused. She and I both realize that you have to know your CE and if you mess up then its our own fault. She is also the kind of person that if she failed a lab or pcs would just pick herself up and try harder. I have faith in her. Thank you for you opinion. It always helps to have another persons point of view.

i applied for mpac on april 20 and they were scheduling apps accepted the first part of march, so i figured it would be about 4-6 weeks before i received notice of my date. i got it on may 7 for august 13 in racine. i've heard spac is slower than that, but i don't know by how much....i also have heard that npac is faster. i would've waited a year on the actual cpne, just knowing the date took soooo much stress off my shoulders! good luck!
