Have you found that is was worth it to take it? has it gotten you a job or promotion? Thanks.
Its definitely made me competitive for quality related positions positions. It hasn't got me a promotion just yet.
But then again when I'm ready to advance in my career I just leave the job rather than wait around for a promotion.
So yes, I would say its worth it.
Hi Zahryia...if you could elaborate...what made the exam hard? I have approximately 3 years working in QPI and have been studying but I hear the pass rate is around 70% and I'm just wondering why. Thanks!
Wow. I didn't know the passing rate was 70%.
Anyway, I wouldn't say it's hard per se, but you do need to study. I happened to do bad in the areas I didn't study as much.
Thankfully, I didn't fail any sections. If I'm not mistaken you can't fail anymore than one or two sections.
Yes, the CPHQ exam is absolutely worth it, especially if you already work in quality management. It strengthens your expertise, builds your confidence, and makes your resume stand out when applying to new companies. Many employers see the CPHQ as proof of serious commitment to healthcare quality.
To prepare efficiently, focus on targeted study resources. I'd recommend using official NAHQ materials plus CPHQ Sample questions from platforms like Pass4Future, which give you realistic scenarios and help you quickly spot weak areas. With a solid plan, you don't need years—many clear it in a few focused months.

Hi All
I'd like advice on this exam. Is it worth the time and money to take it? Does it further your career? I already work in QM but only for a year. I'd like to change companies and was wondering if it would be benefical for me to take it. What is the best way to prepare? I don't have years to study as life is short.
