I have seen a forum for previous semesters and thought I would create a thread for this upcoming semester. How is everyone feeling about their applications? The anxiety is definitely setting in for me!!
I am so nervous and it seems like eternity since I submitted my application. I feel good about it but I would be lying if I said that I wasn't nervous.
I, like most of you have been poring over the forums from the past couple of semesters. I'm praying that we make it. I scored a 77 on my TEAS with a 93.6 on the reading portion and a 84.4 on the math portion , 48.47 points on the application and I currently hold a 3.6 GPA.
I am a much older applicant so I did not have AP classes in my favor, nor do I have a degree. But I do believe that what is for me, is for me. So we shall see.
Hey guys/gals!
I’ve been going crazy waiting on my application. I was rejected last semester because of a waiver for the CNA course by the state, as I hold an active CNA license here without the course, just the exam portion. I was previously enrolled in nursing school and withdrew to move to Charlotte with my wife. I had a 78.9 on my TEAS....worse than my first one many versions ago. The science section kicked my Butt with a 60. I had a 100% on English, 93 on Math and 80.9 on reading sections with advance designation. My application had a score of roughly 51. Currently hold a 4.0 GPA at CPCC and finishing the developmental psych which didn’t transfer from my last school. Also, currently redoing my Chemistry before it expires this upcoming year. Hoping I can get in this semester too. The CNA waiver has been the biggest obstacle in my application process, but my work emailed confirming everything I do. Hopefully can resume back in nursing, Miss the clinical and coursework. Still do my ATI practice material everyday to stay fresh on NCLEXmaterial. Here’s to us getting acceptance emails!
