CPCC Fall 2019

I have seen a forum for previous semesters and thought I would create a thread for this upcoming semester. How is everyone feeling about their applications? The anxiety is definitely setting in for me!!

Hey i’ve been on here reading past semesters as well! I’m glad you made this, I’m super nervous, time is ticking. Everyday I check my email in hopes something would be there?. On my application I got a total of 51.75. All my pre reqs completed with A’s and B’s and the credit for having a 3.0.

I am waiting for my e-mail response for a Fall start as well. I am honestly not feeling that confident about my application. I have only 37.5 or so points on my application. I had a TEAS score of 77. I am a Certified Medical Assistant but that gives me no extra points because it is a diploma and not a degree. The 3.0 and an AP class section I also didn't qualify for because I have never taken an AP class and honors classes do not count. I have all A's in my pre-reqs but A&P II and Dev. Psych which I am currently taking this semester. I will keep you posted though and let y'all know if a miracle happens. ??

Thanks for posting this! I have been checking my email everyday. My application points total 48.96, but I scored an 80 on the TEAS and I have taken all my pre-requisites.

I am so happy you guys responded. I have been so anxious and checking my email like a crazy person every day/ hour lol!

I got a 82 on my TEAS and have 59 points on my application (Have all my pre-reqs done and a bachelors degree). Someone from a previous semester commented that they had 58 points and did not get in, then other people with lower points getting in, so I am kind of sweating.

Also some semesters they found out 20ish days after applications were submitted so maybe we will all find out this week?! who knows!

*I'm just here over analyzing everything haha!

Wishing you guys all the best!! we got this!

I know I don’t have any previous degrees so I am reall nervous. I don’t think we will hear anything today. We still have the rest of this week.

I don’t have a bachelors either. I have a friend who got in for the previous semester and she had a 50.3 on her application. It honestly depends on who applies.

58 points and didn’t get in?!?! Must be some underlying reason.

yeah.. I feel like there had to be other reasons. I think that feed I was reading was from a year that they had a ton of applicants. Who knows. I just want to find out soon! lol

Another day and nothing

Maybe we’ll know by the end of this week or early next week. The latest I saw people getting a decision was 29 days later

When I applied last semester, I received a response 26 days later so hopefully it won't be too much longer of a wait.
