I've been a CNA for about a year and have worked at two long-term facilities. I started this summer at a laid-back facility with about 60 patients. Everyone jokes around with each other and socializes during work, but one male coworker makes me extremely uncomfortable/annoyed. He usually won't say inappropriate things at me, but he thinks it's funny to constantly poke me in places that I would only let a boyfriend do, like my bra area, where my bra straps are on my back, my hips the small of my back right above my bottom, etc. I told him three different times I don't like it, first in a casual way to not make a big deal of it, the next time a firm "I don't like that". Then I flat out said "Try that again I will hit you, I'm not kidding" and he laughed it off and said "Don't threaten me with a good time".
I complained to a supervisor, then found out another coworker (a young teen) complained twice, before and after I did. A nurse also complained he smacked her ass hard enough to leave a mark, and had a witness. How many incidents have to happen before I can expect the company to fire him? People get away with a lot here but constantly pulling crap like this and not listening to us when we tell him to knock it off is way worse than people calling in sick/showing up late.
