What Covid-19 trends are you seeing in practice? Assessments, labs, medications, symptoms, common comorbidities, disease processes, etc.? Walk me through an average case. Thank you
I'm hearing conflicting information on specifically cardiac medications being added or avoided in Covid patients? Are you seeing diastolic right-sided heart failure and DVT's commonly with this disease? If so, any issues with these medications in coronavirus patients?
Also, are you holding steroids from Covid patients? Why, exactly?
Hydroxychloroquine and Z-pack? Remdesivir? Are you seeing any positive results? Side effects? Do demographics (age, gender) or other comorbidities come into play with effectiveness or with the docs hesitating on prescribing these medications?
I am very interested in hearing what All Nurses are seeing first-hand across the country in our Covid-19 treatment. Thank goodness for this site to keep me open-minded to what is being effective across the country
