Coronary Pulmonary Hypertension Question

I took my 2 year old for a cardiology follow-up this morning and the doctor mentioned that his EKG was abnormal again and did his extensive examination with his stethoscope. After that he said he would like to get an echo done and called his office (off base) and told his secretary "I need to schedule an appointment for a 2 y/o with questionable coronary pulmonary hypertension." He told us that he would discuss things with us after the echo. I want to know what this is though. I have done searches on the internet but can not come across with the exact phrase Coronary Pulmonary Hypertension. I come across pulmonary hypertension and studied about that in my A&P book but I was wondering if someone could let me know of personal experiences of more info that would be great.

I didn't recognize the phrase he used, either. I did a google search for "pediatric pulmonary hypertension," and came up with a lot of stuff. Basically I think he's getting an echo to confirm what he heard with the stethoscope, and to rule out any congenital heart defect(s) that may have caused what he heard.

Again, sorry I couldn't be of more help. Hope it's good news for the little guy. Is he asymptomatic? Keep us posted. Thanks. -- D
