Well, today is the day....so what are you having for lunch??

The menu at my house is:

Smoked Turkey

Chicken and Dressing

Green Bean Casserole

Sweet Potatoes

Mashed Potatoes

Mac and Cheese

Yeast Rolls

Pecan Pie

Pumpkin Pie

Kool Aid Pie

Chocolate Delight

and 2 bottles of wine since my inlaws are coming...:D

Turkey with sage dressing

Mashed potatoes and gravy (giblets go to the dog)

Corn

Sweet potatoes with marshmallows

Waldorf salad

Green bean casserole

Cranberry sauce (kids will only eat the canned kind-you know the kind with the imprint of the can)

Wheat Rolls

Pumpkin Pie

Apple Pie

Whipped Cream or Ice Cream

I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with all this food.

I did find a decent recipe for Turkey Parmesan Casserole for the leftover turkey. And I'll make some soup stock with the carcass.

An update on my turkey day:

It's noon, and I got dressed! Yay! I did some cleaning and let the 7 yr old set the table with cristmas dishes. Hubby called from work and told me to pre-heat the oven and put the turkey in, so I did that. Need to make some stuffing, don't know when but will wing it. I suppose the veggies and mashed potatoes come later, and the rolls are the brown and serve...."good times again" The 7 yr old is eating every 10 minutes (from her meds she's on). So I suppose It will be me and hubby eating, maybe his son will stop by (I hope). It's all good! We'll get there eventually.... It's probably time I started cooking for a change, geez, maybe we will all starve! hehehe.... but there is always chinese food, right?
