I wasn't sure which forum to place this info in.....So moderator feel free to move it if you can think of a better place. I think this article is awesome. I've been doing IV's for years and I learned some new things. Great for students....

This is a great site -- I am a new nurse and have started some iv's but this really outlines it etc. I wish I could practice at home just getting technique down. I know it just takes time and practice and at this point, I know which people I can "stick" and who has such awful veins that I am probably not the best person until I have more experience bec I would essentially be going in blind. The nurses I work with are great though and will come with me and assist as needed. Now I am comfortable with the equipment my facility uses so I can really focus on the vein selection and puncture.
Thanks again!
