Hi everyone!!

I'm starting a thread for the incoming July 2018 Cohort! I thought it would be nice to get each others experiences with the interviewing process and steps to hiring! My main pick is the Pediatric Emergency Department.

I know they start calling this week for interviews!

Congratulations!!! Were you able to schedule your interview day or they just gave you a set time and date?

They told me the interview week and I chose and a day and she gave me a time that worked!

I would say yes. I got the email today that they had closed the Residency selection. Did you apply anywhere else?

This might be a weird question, but I was wondering why Cook's is so much more competitive than other hospitals in the area? Do they treat their employees significantly better? is there more pay or better benefits? I know that there are less positions, but I feel like there must be some reason they are able to be so picky! (sorry Im not from Texas, so i don't know anybody that works there that I'd be able to ask.)
