For those who have already taken the HESI, do you have to memorize all the conversions? Or do you get a chart on the particular problem as a guide?

What kind of conversions?
Unit conversions? Yes. You have to memorize those.

Yes! You have to know the conversions for the Metric System and I would recommend just rewriting them down again until you memorize them. After you have memorized what is what then start converting them like how many oz are in 2 quarts?
A lot of the questions on the math portion are really simple basic metric conversions!
I hope this helps! Good luck!
Oz and quarts are not metric; they are English. Examples of metric are mL to L (metric is very easy to remember). But yes you need to know both English and metric and how to convert between them.

Hi , Thank you for your comment. Is there any study materials that you can recommend that focus on how to do conversions?
Get a book like The Nurse, the Math, the Meds or Math for Meds. They teach dosage calculation, but they will cover the conversions.
